    TLHas Windows Update bricked my PC? :DR Windows Update said it needed to reboot. It never has !!! I cannot even get to the BIOS screen !!!I had Windows Update switched off for a couple of weeks.Today 14th April 2025 I downloaded and installed two Windows updates.Windows said it needed to reboot ... It shut down ... But never restarted.The LED lights are all on on the RAM. The fans - cpu and psu - are running, and the keyboard lights num, scroll, caps all flash as per normal.But the screen remains blank. There is not even a BIOS screen !!!I have tried:the bios key on startup DEL - 20+ times and nothingremoving the only bo

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
