Have a HP Envy 600 computer, about 8 years old. i7-procesor, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD etc. running Windows 10 with the latest update. Suddely the sound signal got very weak. With volume at maximum I can hear a weak sound from my sound-system. If I direct the sound to play on an other unit, it sounds OK, so it seems to me as the output amplifier does not work or a sound-firmware are missing!? Several years ago I had a similar problem. Then I was rekomended, on this site, to use a several years younger driver for an other HP-computer and it works. Unfortunately I have forgot the name of it, and I ha

HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.
