    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Carbonite won't open on new Windows 10

    Hi Judy,

    Which version of Carbonite are you using?

    Please visit Windows
    Compatibility center     and see if the Carbonite version that you are using is compatible with Windows 10.

    I would suggest you to install the application in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    a. Right click on setup file.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Click on Compatibility tab.

    d. Put a check mark on Run this program in compatibility mode for.

    e. Select the supported operating system.

    f. Put a check mark on Run this program as an administrator under Privilege Level.

    Try this and let us know the results.

    I'm having a similar problem with Carbonite on my new Windows 10 system.

    The solution suggested above has not worked.
