When I can create in BIOS based devices/MBR Drive: 4 standard partitions, to install Windows and Linux, as a multi boot system, I can use extended partitions to use more, OSs, and also another solution is to use more than one HDD/SSD in the system e.g if having 5 SSDs if space permits can install Windows and 4 more Linux OSs, one in each SSD disk… correct?

My system hp z440 is UEFI, As seem from msinfo32

But Secure Boot is OFF

Is a multi boot system

Windows 10 pro

Windows 11 pro bypass

If make Secure Boot ON it will have any malfunctioning?

Also C:/ disk is GPT... and partitioned to the two OSs.

Hi Lse123polis,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

On that PC, you should be able to switch your BIOS between Legacy BIOS and UEFI, an if you can, then you can use UEFI and format the drive to GPT and you would then have no limitation on the number of partitions you can create on the drive.

This is a much better option than using Legacy BIOS with an MBR partition style drive with extended partitions.
