  1. Have changed permissions on HDD and now it won't boot to windows - how can i restore it?

hi, i have an old HDD that I'm considering putting in a machine with only an SSD. When i went to view the files on the HDD it said i didn't have permission to view it. So I added 'everyone' to the permissions and that seemed to unlock the files on the HDD. But when I reinstalled the HDD in the old machine, it wouldn't boot up at all. Nothing, no ability to access the BIOS or anything. I can feel and hear the HDD spinning so it's got power to it, but I need to go into it so i can wipe all the data off it. How do i undo the changes i made I went back into the settings and removed the 'everyone'

    :)

Have changed permissions on HDD and now it won't boot to windows - how can i restore it?

Sabertooth 990fx won't boot to windows logo, it shuts down

to boot and enter bios and load windows, any todays PSU (with the correct plugs) will work, AFAIK

to enter BIOS only low wattage is used.
Then, during boot, the HDD and a bit later the videocard card start to demand juice, then the other devices and periphericals... so the total demand during boot up is incrementing step by step, that's why a failure halfway could indicate a PSU problem....
