Windows 10: Have gotten so many BSOD i cant count

starting a little over a month ago i have gotten repeated BSOD with no idea how to fix or stop them, ive factory reset completely and have not installed any fishy or new files or anything of the sort, no viruses found no corrupted files found, ive tested my RAM, video card, memory, and any other component i could think of, nothing came back with error or issue, its been KERNEL_POWER 41 BSOD until this morning, i reset my pc again last night and as i turned it on i immediately got a kernel security check failure BSOD, which is the first time its been different, although in event viewer it still

I have added the file count column to my folder in File Explorer. However, the actual file count is not displaying.

• How did you added file count column for folders in File Explorer? What are the steps did you followed?
• When you say, "actual file count is not displaying" is this issue specific to any folder or happening with all folders?
• Have you installed any third party anti-virus on your system?

• Open File Explorer.
• Click on View from navigation pane and choose Detail pane.

total number (count) of contacts / people?

Hello avioing,

Unfortunately at the moment there is no such mechanism to count all the contacts on the phone. As suggested, you would have to go to windowsphone.live.com and get the count from there. If you have Outlook with Exchange, you should go get the total count
from within Outlook, same applies to Gmail and other contact lists. Thanks a lot for contributing to the forum!

 

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
