  1. Have I really lost my 5 TB of my files?

I was trying to recover a deleted file by myself and I managed finding Microsoft's "Recovery Drive", which I then initiated on my external HDD D:. At some point I cancelled what it was doing and later on today I noticed none of my files were on my external HDD D: anymore, they all have been replaced with Microsoft's "Recovery Drive" which I initiated. Is it possible to undo the mess I made and recover the 5TB of files that were on there?I will have here screenshots and other information attached below:- My External HDD is a "Seagate Backup Plus Drive 8TB" Model: SRD0PV1 and it shows now

    :)

    Lost a REALLY IMPORTANT folder

    Hi Tanya,

We'd like to know a few things to understand this better and help you recover the missing folder. Please answer these questions:

    • Did you lose it after upgrading to Windows 10?
    • How long has it been since you installed Windows 10 on the computer?
Windows 10 does not apply changes or remove personal files without your permission. We suggest you restore the previous version of the folder or drive that used to contain the files you are looking for. Refer to this

    page
    for the steps.

Let us know if you need more help.

    Regards.

Have I really lost my 5 TB of my files?

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
