Windows 10: Have icon for application visible on one Desktop not all

Is there a way to make programs only visible on specific desktops? For example I have a desktop that I have named "Games", how would I go about having the steam icon only show up on this desktop and no others. Right now when I create a new desktop it's and exact copy of the original desktop and any changes made to one are reflected on all desktops.If this is not possible then can someone explain what the point of having multiple desktops would be?

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Desktop Icons

Desktop icons are stored in two separate places:

• In C:\Users\Public\Desktop. These icons are visible to all accounts.
• In C:\Users\CuzClan\Desktop. These icons are visible to CuzClan only.

You can now arrange it so that certain icons are visible to everyone.

• Did you make any recent software changes on your computer?

As an initial step I would suggest you Right click on Desktop Window> View > Check Shows desktop icons, check if the desktop icons are back on desktop.

Check if the Icons or files are available in the My Documents>Desktop folder, check if icons are visible in the folder.
