    Have System Image, but can't extract files from it


    So, I already have several System Images of the PC I am on. Due to a total crash not bootable any more of my PC I had to do a Clean Installation. It took me from the crashed PC 23H2 to now 24H2. All APPs reinstalled, etc.I am left with these problems at a minimum:1. Lost all stored passwords in Chrome2. Los Bookmarks in Chrome did restore an html to recover most3. AND NOW this question on how invoke a system image to find more things I need.My focus is to be able to extract specific files from a System Image.I am familiar with different methods, such as, 1 use a Recovery disk to essentia

    Extracting Zip Files


    Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.

    Thanks pyramid10 for your contribution, I ensured that the steps taken and the source and destination folders were the same, in the using zip7 as suggested by BunnyJ resolved all issues for me.
    I am the first to admit that I am a long long way from understanding the intricacies of computers and if truth be told I am now to old anyway to absorb much information.

    Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?
