Windows 10: Have tried literally everything, PC still wakes up from sleep instantly

HP Spectre x360 13' Kaby Lake i7, running Windows 10 1909. Absolutely no matter what I do, it always wakes from sleep mode. The amount of fixes and threads I've read in order to get it not to wake from sleep on it's own is insane. Open to suggestions in general (even if it's a common one that I may have already tried, will comment saying if done before or not)

A little bit of history: this is my friend's HP Spectre which had an issue of overheating and severe cases of burnt motherboards. He told me his PC kept waking from sleep (a few years ago) and kept emerging really hot from his bookbag. At one point his motherboard ended up burnt and he got told it was $700 to fix it, nevertheless he didn't do it (it's not his fault and he really shouldn't need to pay for that issue since it's a software/hardware issue). After some years, turns out the PC still works without a hard drive and I installed Windows To Go on an external hard drive to run it. Everything runs well, but this wake from sleep almost instant after pressing the button/on screen will end up overheating it again in his bookbag and end up damaging it permanently this time. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.
