Have Win10 on older HDDs - need to move one

Hello, I have several HDD's containing the Win10 files. I now have a new HDD and would like to Transfer one of my older Win10 file systems to it if possible. 1. How large should a Flash drive been to transfer the files?2. Is it possible to check the Product ID to confirm it is still a useable file system?3. Will the destination HDD be erased when W10 is moved to it?TIA --

    :)

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    unlock hdd

    Hi Johan,

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:

    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Update us on how it goes.

    Regards.

Have Win10 on older HDDs - need to move one

Now Win10 is out have you gone back to 8 or older?

Nope, slowly upgrading my fleet to Windows 10 as the time comes to reformat each machine.

Assuming you are talking about Mint 17 you list in your specs, that isn't newer, that's still older than Win10.
