    Have yubikey 2FAC added to microsoft account, but cannot unlock PC eith it


    Need some help here, I have read several articles on using adding a security key, but they do NOT seem to cover having a personal Microsoft account bound to a PC, and allowing you to use a security key instead. The short is how do I use a PC bound to a personal microsoft account not org based or on AD and make it to where I can unlock my PC with it without putting it on a domain?I see for app logins https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-sign-in-options-and-account-protection-7b34d4cf-794f-f6bd-ddcc-e73cdf1a6fbfAnd for *AD* bound devices being able to use security key to login

    Are you sure it's called DNA ad unlocker and not DNS Unlocker? If the latter......................

    Yubikey Two-Factor Authentication

    Hi....I just purchased a " Yubikey " to use with the password manager
    LastPass and it works very well as a two-factor authentication. I sign on to my PC with my Microsoft account and would like to use the Yubikey as a two-factor there also. I can't seem to find a procedure at Microsoft that explains
    how to set this up correctly. The last thing I want to do is lock myself out of my PC.

    I need to know ;

    (1) The procedure to setup a Yubikey with a Microsoft account.

    (2) Will the Yubikey work OK on any PC that I may sign onto with my Microsoft account. I have several PC's i often sign into .

    Any help will be appreciated.
