Got a new hp 15 dyxxx I think thats the model laptop in december for christmas. I use my laptop for school and playing games like valorant on low settings on the laptop. I have a iris xe graphics intel core i5 11th gen cpu. It was doing this at 1st for the 1st few months and maybe a few weeks ago it has started doing this almost once everyday I'm using it. I don't think it's gaming either because it even does this when I'm doing simple tasks like watching youtube or scrolling on chrome randomly it'll freeze and give me the blue screen of death. I've kept my graphics drivers updated so I don'

Intel launched Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics for thin-and-light laptops

What’s New: Today, Intel launched Intel® Iris® Xe MAX graphics, designed for thin-and-light laptops and now available from partners. Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics is based on the same Xe-LP microarchitecture used for Intel Iris Xe graphics in 11th Gen Intel® Core™ mobile processors. It is Intel’s first Xe-based discrete graphics processing unit (GPU) as part of the company’s strategy to enter the discrete graphics market. Intel Iris Xe MAX platforms feature Intel® Deep Link technology as part of Intel® Adaptix™, support PCIe Gen 4 and address an emerging need for content creation performance in thin-and-light laptops.

What Deep Link Does: Deep Link aggregates multiple processing engines through a common software framework to bring new capabilities and better performance to PCs. How Deep Link Works: Deep Link technology brings together processing engines under a common software framework, allowing software developers to significantly boost content creation workload performance. Applications can scale certain workloads across integrated and discrete graphics. Examples include:

An additive AI capability that enables inferencing and rendering on both GPUs to accelerate content-creation workloads.

A combination of industry-leading encode engines in each GPU through hyper encoding that allows the time to render out videos for reviewing or sharing.

The first Deep Link-enabled applications use Intel® Media SDK, Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and Intel® VTune™ Profiler to access the full power of the platform. What It Delivers: 11th Gen Intel Core mobile processors paired with Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics deliver Additive AI to provide 7 times faster AI-based creation1 than similar laptops configured with third-party graphics, and Hyper Encode for up to 1.78 times faster encoding2 than a high-end desktop graphics card. Intel HD graphics drivers and Video TDR Failure

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro 5830 with an Intel Atom CPU z3740D running Windows 10 Home version 1607 OS Build 14393.187. Two weeks ago I started to get Video TDR Failures, to the point were the PC is unusable as it freezes up two to five times a minute and
usually fails within two minutes. I am not sure if I received an update or not. I assumed it was a minor issue so I refreshed my PC. This did not fix the issue so I did a complete reinstall of Windows 8, then updated to Windows 10, again this did not fix
the issue. I read on line about updating the Intel HD graphics driver, so I went to Dell's web site and updated the drivers and BIOS per Dell's suggestion, still no fix. I used a system restore from my son's Dell Venue 8 Pro, thinking it may be an update
that I missed, no fix to the Video TDR Failure. I have downloaded the following drivers from both Dell and Intel; Intel HD Graphics Version 10.18.10.4252, 10.18.10.4338, and 10.18.10.4425. all three give me the Video TDR Failure. I am currently running the
Microsoft Basic Display Adapter for the Display adaptor. I do not receive the Video TDR Failure with Microsoft's Basic Display Adapter, but the camera does not work and when the PC goes to sleep and the screen backlight stays on. I ran Dell's system analysis
to see if there were any issues, the PC checks out good with the Microsoft Adapter, however when installing the Intel graphics driver the analysis would not proceed through the graphics test. I installed a Logitech web cam with drivers just to see if it would
work and I had no problems. I am not sure if it is an Intel/Windows 10 issue as I have Windows 10 running on my son's Venue 8, and have gone through all the suggestions listed on both Dell's support sight as well as Microsoft's web site; or a hardware issue.
Any help will be appreciated.
