Windows 10: Having a Restore Point just prior Upgrade to 11, and after proceeding to upgrade is enough...

I am currently in my Bee-link mini-PC have Windows 10 Pro, and it is eligible for Windows 11 upgrade, give choice in Settings > for this UpgradeI have just back up it but Not the Programs or Windows 10 system filesHaving a Restore Point just prior Upgrade to 11, and after proceeding to upgrade is enough to restore Windows 10 in case Windows 11 Upgrade FAIL...?

I have just run a Repair install myself to make sure nothing has changed recently. I used my 21H1 ISO.

The Step 7 tutorial diagrams are correct.
- After clicking on setup, the 'ConsentUI' [aka Admin prompt] appears.
- Then the preparing dialog appears. It is a small one about 3 inches by 1 inch.




- Then the big Install Windows 10 dialog appears. It covers about half the screen.





I do not know what to suggest any more. I am out of ideas.

0 Can we take that as a new starting point then?

1 Your ISO is Version 21H1 and you downloaded it using TechBench WZT [Option 5 of Download Windows 10 ISO File - TenForumsTutorials]?

2 If you double-click on it, it 'mounts' as a virtual DVD drive?




3 Have you tested the ISO file structure's integrity?
- Copy the …\sources\install.wim or …\sources\install.esd file somewhere else [anywhere else that's big enough & for which you have access].





- If there is a copy error [… cannot find file …] then the file has been corrupted during download.
- You can delete the copy afterwards. It was only a by-product of the test.

4 If you are logged in to an Admin account and you double-click on its setup.exe, you get the responses stated in Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - TenForumsTutorials [Steps 1,2,3,4,7+]?
- There is nothing documented to suggest that using the Built-in admin for a Repair install will cause problems but it should not be used for the job because failures would be impossible to diagnose.
- In any response about problems, please be specific about steps done successfully & steps producing errors or we'll be here all day.

Upgrade to Windows 11

I want to upgrade my OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have run the compatibility software and got the message that says my Windows 10 software is not compatible with upgrading to Windows 11. I'm looking for a point & click application that will make my Windows 10 OS upgradable to Windows 11 or a file that will provide step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish the upgrade to Windows 11. I expect a list of files/applications that will not run in Windows 11 because my PC is not capable of running the new applications w/o hardware upgrades.
