Windows 10: having an issue while copying or moving or deleting files from my hard disk

I'm facing the same issue while trying to copy files to my drives SSD and HDD , the speed keeps decreasing till it get to 0 kb/s then my laptop gets frozen for few minutes and i cant do anything , also when i plug in any external storage device the laptop also gets frozen for 2 minutes , any idea for this issue ?

It seems that the large folder that you moved to the external hard drive has appeared to be the main video folder. To isolate this case, we suggest that you create a new folder on the external hard drive first before copying/moving any files/folders.

By the way, we would like to ask the following information to help us sort out and address the issue:

• What's the make and model of your hard drive?
• Have you tried safely removing and reconnecting your hard drive from your PC?

In the meantime, please create a new folder on the external hard drive first, then try copying/moving a file/folder and see if it saves on the folder you specified.

Install all the windows updates and check,

If you want to check for the update now, select the Start button
, then select
Settings
> Update & security>
Windows Update>
Check for updates..

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to perform
Disk cleanup as it is a system tool in Windows 10 used to free up system space and check if it helps.
