    Having fault Exception code: 0xc0000417


    I saw links on the Microsoft Community support page that stated to try and allow the program to communicate through the fire wall and gave a link to get to that info. However every time I clicked on the link I simply was redirected by the Windows home page to the home page for Win 10. I am being redirected for every issue I try to research concerning faults with my Win 10 sys. And I want no help from their online tech support teams, they're incompetent and twice I have allowed them access to my computer to "try" and fix something, a simple restore point once. I figured ...I was busy and I was still eligible for tech support so why not, it wasn't costing me anything. Well they screwed it up so bad I had to uninstall and reinstall half a dozen programs and drivers as well as go back through and reset all of my personal preferences including desktop backgrounds folder view settings etc etc. and he was only supposed to go back two days not to nearly the date I bought it. So how can I cut through windows redirecting me from getting to this page http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-Windows-Firewall, and actually get there so I can try it out. Also can you direct me to a source of knowledge for setting a Win 10 system to a virtual computer. I don't know if Win 10 will even allow one to that like I used to do with my old Win7 system over a decade ago...its been that long thinking aloud. So if you could help me out with that, it would be great.

    Skyrim crashing with Exception code: 0xc0000417 , what's broken?

    Ok, so, three times today Skyrim has just crashed to desktop, no pop ups, no warnings, one minute i am riding across Skyrim on horseback and the next I am looking at the desktop. The last crash left the following in the Application Event Viewer -

    Doesn't tell me anything, what does exception code 417 mean ? At least a place to start in figuring out what is *now* wrong with Skyrim. >.< It's up to date, it's on Steam which auto updates the games.

    How do I solve this error that frequently crashes my game? (the exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occurred in the application at location 0x0682b6fc)

    Lately, when I am playing Black Desert Online (an MMO which I launch via Steam) I will be able to play the game normally for a few minutes before having an error message appear on my screen that says:

    "the exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occurred in the application at location 0x0682b6fc"

    Terminating the program is the only option I am given. The game takes a long time to start up so having to constantly restart the game is quite irritating. I have tried reinstalling the game and verifying the game cache on Steam but no luck. Any suggestions
    would be greatly appreciated!
