Windows 10: Having issues with Azure VPN client on all windows 10 Enterprise computers

When our users log into Azure VPN it will not allow them to log in. There are different errors that we get which are below:1. Connecting to VPN server failed with exception: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host2. The operation was canceled by the user3. Failure in acquiring AAD token: Keyset does not exist.We do have Multi-factor authentication setup for all usersWe have noticed every time an update from Microsoft or a WiFi wireless network driver that updated azure VPN stops working. How we have noticed this is all users will be working and all of a sudden one day it stops

How to connect Azure Point to Site VPN to a Windows 7 OS client?

Hi,
Is it possible to still configure Azure Point to site VPN for Windows 7OS as of 21-7-2022?
I installed the VPN client and place/install all the necessary certs in the Windows 7 PC but keep getting Error 798 unable to verify/locate certificate.

The VPN client works perfectly fine for a Windows 10 OS, so I believe there is no issues with the guide provided by Microsoft.

I have tried
- All steps listed in the troubleshooting guide (Except creating an entirely new Virtual Network)

- Enabling TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2

I notice that the article below does not list Windows 7 as a supported OS.

Could anyone kindly enlighten me if this is possible or share with me alternate ways to enable Azure Point to Site VPN on a Windows 7 OS PC.

Azure VPN - Client won't launch on Windows 10 PC

I have successfully set up an Azure point to site VPN using IKEv2 - root certs and client certs have been produced successfully.

I have downloaded the VPN client, and on my laptop I can connect, get the private IP address and connect to the Virtual Machine on the network.

However, when I install the same VPN client on my desktop, the VPN connection appears in the VPN settings screen, but when I click "Connect" instead of the Azure login window appearing I get the "circle of dots" going round endlessly, and nothing happens.

I've tried removing the client cert from the laptop, and the Azure login window still appears and warns you that you don't have a valid Client cert, so its not that.

I've removed Sophos Endpoint security, and switched off the firewall to see if they were stopping anything, rebooted several times - but I'm still getting the same issue.

I'm running out of ideas of where to look next to resolve this, so any help would be appreciated.

 

Azure VPN Client does not minimize to tray

The Azure VPN Client app does not properly minimize to the tray, and instead takes up real estate on my taskbar.

Is this a bug or am I overlooking a setting?
