Having issues with Start, Microsoft Store, and Default Apps

Good Evening All. Having a problem and hope to get some assistance.

So, I recently reinstalled Windows 10 Home on my device after three years computer really needed it. Everything was working fine unit tonight. When I tried to open a photo, I got the error message "{Application Error} The application was unable to start correctly 0xlx. Click OK to close the application."

I decided to restart my computer, and when I did, my start menu stopped working start, search bar, and update center on the right side. Also, I can't access Microsoft store or ANY of the default Microsoft apps. And in the settings menu, I can't really do anything associated with microsoft accounts. For instance, under users > your info, when I click "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" a gray box pops up for a second, then disappears.

Looked online and tried the following things to fix the issue:

    1. SFC /SCANNOW

    2. DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH

    3. Restarting Windows Explorer

    4. Starting Application Identity Service

    5. Turning off Sign in info

    6. Creating a new Admin account

    7. Uninstalling/Reinstalling all apps through powershell can't even get this one to work for some reason.

Nothing I've done has fixed the issue and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'd REALLY love to avoid reinstalling Windows again since I justgot everything back up to 100%. Anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate any assistance.

    Thanks!

    :)

Microsoft is purging a lot of low quality apps from the Windows Store

"Microsoft is sending emails to some Windows Store developers informing them that their apps have been removed from the Store for violating its quality standards."

"Neowin reports that app developers have been receiving these emails over the past couple of days:

In its latest review of the Store, Microsoft is evaluating if the published apps are good enough to be listed in the Windows Store. This includes publicly available apps as well as private beta apps. Additionally, Microsoft is also asking developers to delete any promotional campaigns for their apps to prevent advertising charges. Similarly, app name reservations are also being nullified; which means that if your app is unpublished, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to republish it under the same name.

Officially, the policies for the Microsoft Store says that apps must have "distinct and informative metadata" and "provide a valuable and quality user experience". There are also some specific standards that must be in the apps, including having a name that is not similar to another app or device, along with offering a description that is accurate about its features and functions.

There have certainly been many Windows Store users who have complained over the years about the large number of apps published that are clones of other apps or ones that are simply poorly made. Hopefully, this new move by Microsoft will help to curb these issues, at least for now.

No Windows Store or default apps

I hope I'm posting in the right section here. A while ago I had been having some issues with my machine. To combat this, one of the suggestions I saw was to remove the Windows store and the default apps. At that point I thought it would be temporary or otherwise reversible, and removed it.

Now, however, I can't seem to restore it. I've read that it can be restored by resetting the PC, but I don't want to have to start over to get my store back, as it's been a few months since I've removed it. I need it back for a few key default apps as well as a game only available in the Windows store. Any suggestions will be very appreciated!
