    Having issues with windows firewall


    Im having issues with my windows firewall as it is constantly breaking or not functioning, the only way i manage to fix this is i run the windows update repair. But this seems to only fix the issue only for a moment. After some time rebooting the PC it seems to break again and i can no longer turn on my fire wall.

    yes i am sure i am having no issues with a router. this is at my work. and i only have issues with the windows 7 firewall.

    as for adding ports, i do it the same as what is listed in your picture.

    Can Windows Firewall block outgoing connections yet? If not, it's one step above useless.

    Look into Online Armor for a free firewall.

    Windows 10 Firewall won't keep my inbound/outbound rules

    Hi,

    I realize the inconvenience caused to you regarding the Windows Firewall. I will certainly assist you.

    I suggest you to restart the Windows firewall service and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps for the same.

    • Press Windows key + R simultaneously for Run.
    • Type services.msc and then Enter.
    • Right click on the Windows firewall services and then restart the services and check if it helps.
    If the issue still persists then I suggest you to remove and then read the Windows fire wall rule.
