    Having issues with Windows Update.


    Hello,I am having issues with my 8+ year old laptop. Just recently exchange the old battery with a new one to improve health.But, I am still having trouble with the laptop completing only 7% of the update, then restarts, show that "We couldn't update the computer. Undoing Changes", restarts again and it kept on with every update attempt.I just done a process of finding the issue and I have come across a CBS.log after a sfc /scannow session.Can someone tell me what to do to fix all of these issues once and for all. Thank you.CBS.log

    It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

    Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

    I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

    That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile Having issues with Windows Update. :)
