Windows 10: Having problems with Cortana and Search after upgrading to version 1809

I upgraded my Windows 10 version 1803 to 1809. Cortana is slow to trigger and as I speak, it quits without doing anything. Same thing happens when i press the mic option. Also when I search for some app and press Enter, the search menu still draws over other apps and even after moving the cursor and clicking outside the menu, it still doesn't go into the background and i have to press Start button to get rid of the menu.

I have a lot of space for display content in Cortana search list, and 80% of it not used because Cortana sorting items by types.
How disable all filters and make visible all suggested content?

 

Problem facing with Cortana and search

I am attaching 2 screenshots without writing a lot. Two irritating problems that I faced in this version 1809 are

• Cortana doesn't listen to me. just showing like the photo and after 1/2 second closed down. I have tested "listen to the device" that works fine
• when I search something it shows the broken page like a suggestion. Besides if I click to open that app the suggestion should vanish automatically but it doesn't. I have to manually click twice on the start icon

Have you been able to use Cortana before and have you experienced any problems with it then?
What about trying a system restore?

I would particually suggest step 3 and see if the problem still remains with a new user account.
