  2. Windows 11 Defaultuser0

After a Windows update the defaultuser0 profile showed up on my laptop. I deleted the user profile from the accounts tab in settings but defaultuser0 still tries to sign on upon restart/reboot and stays on the sign-in screen despite the account being removed from the list of users.
How do I get rid of defaultuser0?

  3. "defaultuser0" created on clean install of Anniversary Update

I just bought a new Dell laptop (2017-05-18) With W10 Home ed. factory installed on it, and I face the same problem. Doing what you recommend, deleting the Defaultuser0 and then opening registry, I cannot find anything named: "Defaultuser0 registry entry"
on the advised search path. I therefore restored Defaultuser0 from the recycle bin, in waiting for better advice. What do I do?

Get rid of Windows 10 defaultuser0

    Hi,

I realize that it must be difficult for you when things are not working as it should. Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. I will try to help you with this issue.

I suggest you to follow these steps to remove the user account from your computer and check if that helps.

    • Press “Windows key + R” and type “netplwiz” press Enter.

    • Select the user account (defaultuser0), click the remove button.

Follow the on-screen directions to complete the process. Once this is done restart the pc for the changes to take place.

Keep us informed to help you further.
