    Hello! So I’m trying to upgrade a computer from a 750 gb hdd to a 1tb ssd. I’ve already cloned it and the ssd is compatible. I’ve gone through BIOS to change the boot drive to the SSD, but while still keeping the old HDD connected as well. So I’m not fully sure if it’s actually booting from the ssd. When i try to fully swap out the hdd for the ssd, it gives a windows error (0xc00000e) even though I cloned the OS to the new drive as well. Another issue I’m having is that the new ssd has over 200 gb unallocated. When I do into disk management to create a new Volume and allocate it, it gives a message that says that it’s going to convert it into a dynamic disk if I do so and that I won’t be able to start the installed OS from any volume on the disk(s) except for the designated boot drive. I’m not too sure what to do. I’ve tried so many different ways to fix this after researching the web for hours. Any and all help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks, I will look into the Samsung SSD instead and set it up as you suggested, that's exactly what I needed.

    64Gb SSD for OS or 2Tb HDD for storage ?!

    I suggest that you get the 2tb for storage. SSDs are only useful if you want to boot things fast like OS and programs. I actually suggest you get both if you have that many movies.

    Upgrade OS from one SSD to another SSD?

    Could I possibly get some help on how best I can upgrade my existing SSD. I have a 256 GB SSD which I would like to upgrade to a 480 GB SSD. I already have the new SSD and want to upgrade it tommorow. How best I can transfer/migrate my OS (Windows 10 Insider
    Preview) from the old to the new SSD?
