Having Trouble changing the file path of 'This PC' subfolders

I would like to change the file path of 'documents' located in the 'This PC' folder from:C:\Users\adii8\OneDrive\Documents -> C:\Users\adii8\DocumentsIn other words, I want to get rid of One Drive acting as an intermediary for all my files. However, when I go through the normal method of right-clicking the file, going to the location tab, and changing the file path - I am prompted with an error:Additionally, I have already tried changing the Registry, through the Registration Editor as you can see: and of course, restarting both Explorer.exe through task manager with admin privileges as wel

    :)

  2. Add a path to $PATH?

what exactly do you need to decipher about that path line? also, what are you installing? perhaps i can help.

  3. Add a path to $PATH?

Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.

    Thanks for the reply.

  4. Having Trouble changing the file path of 'This PC' subfolders

I have just updated my PC's to windows 10

    Hi Hugh,

In your first PC, you have mentioned that your disc drive is not recognized in File Explorer but is displayed in the Device Manager. This could occur if a drive letter is not assigned to the CD/DVD drive. I would suggest you to try assigning a drive letter
to the disc drive and then check if it is displayed in the File Explorer. Press Windows key + X, click on 'Disk management' and then check if the disk drive is listed. If it is listed without a drive letter, right click on the drive and select 'Change drive
letter and paths'. Click on 'Add' and then assign a drive letter that is not assigned for any other drives. Now, open File Explorer and check if the drive is listed.

In your second PC, you have mentioned that there is no sound. In this case, I would suggest you to try the steps suggested in this article and check:
