Windows 10: Having trouble connecting to the internet.

I updated my laptop today and when it finally restarted, I went to connect to my university wifi, only to find that my settings did not have an option to connect to wireless internet. This was strange, because prior to the update, I had been using the wifi to do homework. I tried restarting my computer, uninstalling the latest update, and nothing. I know the university internet isn’t down because I am using it on my phone to write this. I can’t help but wonder if this may also have to do with my computer asking me for my BitLocker recovery key a few times recently?

Thanks for your answer, i tried that, but the problem persist.

I have internet in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer (Actual Spartan), but the other programs not yet. Apple Update for example: "Not connection to network", and the same message for Steam, Origin, etc.

Method 1: Internet Troubleshoot

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  
• 
  Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer
website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.

• 
  Select Network Adapter and expand the driver icon.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.
