    Having trouble entering safe mode through the Windows Recovery Environment


    Hello, my system is running Windows 11, if any additional information is needed or I've got something wrong, please let me know, any help is appreciated.Background: I have not been able to boot Windows, and am getting a black screen with a blue spinning cursor whenever I try to start my PC. I am fairly confident this was due to a recent Nvidia Graphics Driver which I installed yesterday. What I am trying to do is run Windows in Safe Mode so that I can uninstall the drivers and reinstall an older version. I tried all the shortcuts on my keyboard, so I have just been hard resetting my PC 3 times

    Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

    Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

    Cannot enter safe mode

    Hi, My Asus laptop is stuck in a startup repair loop while trying to fix error 0x80070091, I've tried following things:
    Use this guide: Startup Repair Infinite Loop Recovery - Windows 7 Help Forums
    Use the option 'reset this pc' and tried to use 'system recovery' but all to no avail.
    While in this startup repair loop it also seems impossible to enter safe mode. (I've tried to enter safe mode pressing F5 from the startup settings screen). I guess using the tweaking repair program will solve this error (0x80070091) but obviously I have to enter safe mode first. Any suggestions?

    Having trouble entering safe mode through the Windows Recovery Environment

    Can’t restart in safe mode

    Good day all! I have an issue that prevents Windows 11 (22H2 22621.1194) from fully loading in normal mode. When I follow the steps for Safe Mode:

    1. At the login screen, hold down the shift key and press the Power Button then Restart to make it enter Recovery Environment.
    2. Now please select Troubleshoot > Select Advanced options > Select Startup Settings then Click Restart.
    3. However, I do not get the startup options menu - the computer just starts back up like in normal mode.
    Any suggestions?
