Windows 10: Having trouble finding drivers for old HP PSC 1410 printer

Windows 10 x64, HP PSC 1410



The printer works fine using HPLIP on a Ubuntu VM, but on windows, I cant get it to print, only scan. I've tried all I can think of. I've tried using HP's All-In-One installer which ended in a fatal error, using generic drivers that did not work, using WLS to install HPLIP which I couldn't do, tried using different kind of HP drivers, didn't work. Please help me find a driver for my printer, or diagnose a problem.

I had the same problem, but eventually found:

Press "Download" and you get all of the Software and Drivers. The onscreen "Solution Center" for the PSC 1410 looks and functions exactly the same way that it did in the previous Windows version.

 

WIN 10 & Printer Adding - HP PSC 1410



After upgrading to Win10, my HP PSC 1410 Printer does not add up with system.

Above error shown. All attempts to get it resolved thro HP website also proved futile.

Says no driver. Spent days and hours downloading different HP software for Win 10 but of no use.

I am stuck with no printing device.

Community please advise.
