    Having trouble launching Microsoft Flight Simulator.


    Hello, all!After the update of Microsoft Flight Sim the other day, I haven't been able to launch the game. I was able to fly the first day they added the Pelican, but after that the game has not worked for me.Whenever I launch the game, the splash screen will appear, it will sync with my Xbox account, and then I will be greeted with a big black screen with a thick white boarder. This screen will stay up for about 5-10 seconds before the game automatically closes. I've tried a few other walk-throughs on here and YouTube, but nothing has worked. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using th

    Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi Rahul,



    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



    I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

    Refer the steps below to uninstall.

    • Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
    • Open programs and features.
    • In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
      Remove.


    Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



    Reinstall the Flight Simulator.



    Please reply to us if the issue still persist.
