Windows 10: Having trouble opening saved or new Word docs up and neither are Excel Spreadsheet programs.

I had my Word Docs pinned on my task bar, and now none of my docs are opening up. I can't even open a blank doc. Also tried to open Excel, and the same thing happens. No response.

PRINTING LABEL IN WORD FROM AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET

We are trying to print labels in word from a spreadsheet in Excel. We have tried copying the spreadsheet to a recipient list but can not get it to work. Is there a way to import the spreadsheet and not retype the information?

 

Excel/Word doc opens after Windows 10 startup

I have a user with this same problem as asked previously.

When they log into their computer running Windows 10, a blank Excel spreadsheet opens. Occasionally it will be 2 Excel spreadsheets or more.

...there's nothing in startup folders, run registry, XLStart?

Embedded spreadsheets in Office 2016

After completing the online repair there is no change.

I am suspect that the problem lies within the security settings or recent security update from Windows. As I mentioned, the files can be opened and edited on other machines, but for some reason not on the machine in which the documents were created. I have
used this machine to open and edit these docs for quite some time until recently when I began receiving the security error message.

A few moments ago, I created a new document, embedded a spreadsheet as an excel object then saved the file. I then opened the doc to edit the spreadsheet, and received the same access error. I closed the error message, shutdown my machine for 3 minutes to
clear the cache, restarted, opened the newly created file and was still unable to edit the document.

This ONLY occurs with embedded excel spreadsheets. I am able to edit Word Docs, tables within the doc and text within the doc. All functionality in each of the standalone programs works fine, with exception to embedded spreadsheets applied to Word Docs.
