Windows 10: Having Trouble Repairing Win10

My File Explorer appears to have a broken link.


When I click on a certain directory, a message says "Working On It". After about a minute or two, though, the message disappears and nothing appears.


Yet, there are only about 6 small files, in the directory, and other programs encounter no problem, when accessing them.


So, again, my File Explorer appears to have a broken link - or several!


The program does not have any trouble accessing the other directories, though.


When I tried to do a startup repair, Win10 reported that it cannot repair Win10.


Any thoughts?

I'm having trouble with Macrium Reflect tutorial.

Strongly suggest you watch some youtube videos on Macrium and follow them step by step, making sure they are current.

Also make sure you have the manual to hand, and use the extensive help provided with the product.

 

Programs not working


In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

Having trouble with port forwarding..

I am currently a bit occupied and can't focus 100%.

Give me some time to write a full check list for you. That manual helps a lot in doing all this.

I will return once I've written everything in a clear and step by step tutorial. I also have D2, so I will test it on my system, which also takes time.
