Join Teams for work or school meeting with personal Microsoft account

Microsoft Teams Insider Blog: As a part of ongoing work to improve the experience when joining Teams meetings, we have just made a new update available for Teams Insiders. Now you can join as your signed-in personal Microsoft account from within the Teams app on Windows 11, providing a better meeting experience for all parties. In the first phase of rolling out this new functionality, you will get the new experience when joining a Teams for work or school meeting from within Teams free by tapping a Teams for work or school meeting link in a chat or community within Teams free. Your signed-in personal Microsoft account will be used when you join the meeting.

  3. Can't sign in Win 10 with work or school account

Hello Gavin. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

Keep in mind that if you add a work or school account it will take over your PC with the organizations' Group Policy just as if it was a work or school computer. The only way to avoid this is to have those accounts on another PC, or to shrink C or install another hard drive to Dual Boot WIndows between a Personal install and a Work/School install.

If you still want these accounts on your personal PC, here is how to add and manage Work or School accounts on your Windows 10 PC:

    https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-add-a-work...

    https://www.onmsft.com/how-to/how-to-manage-per...

If you have any problems contact your work or School IT help desk, they are the only ones who can explain their Group Policy, although they will never change it for you since it applies across all of their organization's PC's. They may be able to help you with it intruding into your personal account, but this usually has mixed results.

In case you want to look it over here's how to Dual Boot Windows 10 with itself or Windows 11:

    https://nerdschalk.com/how-to-dual-boot-windows...

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back, I will have other suggestions if necessary.

  4. Having trouble with installing windows 11 and microsoft work/school account

Microsoft (work/school) account unable to sign into Cortana, Bing, the Microsoft Account Page, and others

    Hello,

As the subject line suggests, I've been experiencing trouble signing into many Microsoft services and websites. I've looked into the trouble shooting page "That
    Microsoft account doesn't exist
" and in step two it explains the limitation of having a work/school account. In step two, it gives examples of websites that should still work with my account like the Microsoft Account Page, but even that didn't work. Here's
a picture of what happened when I tried to sign into the Microsoft account Page, also know that this also happens when I try to sign into Cortana and Bing:

Thank you for your help in advance!
