Windows 10: Having trouble with my screensaver

Hi have had 2 monitors setup for a while and have been using wallpaper engine.wall paper engine only worked on 1 monitor fully, and displayed on second monitor for a brief time, until the screensaver went through to a slide show. cancelling the wallpaper engine image.ignored it for awhile now but its starting to annoy me.The slideshow goes through 2 images only - the sheep in like an old game style graphic and then just some generic black one with some gold art.Ive now added a third monitor tonight, giving me the push to sort this out.if i try to change the theme, it blacks out the 3 monitor

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

Thank you, Greg! I DID change the screensaver to "none" as you suggested. I then rebooted, reset the screensaver to "photos" and found that upon moving the mouse, or typing, the screen resumed, instead of going blank. Now, I just have to see if the "sleep
mode" works properly. Incidentally, before the W10 upgrades, my screensaver previously did a neat little trick when I used the directionals; an "error message" floated across the screen saying something like "screensaver not working properly"! This has now
started in again! Oh, well... at least things are a LITTLE better! Hope this "bug" is cured in the future!

Windows 11 upgrade screensaver problem

Where are the results for the dozen-plus steps I gave you to try, and was waiting for results to be posted back so I know what else to suggest?

This is an interactive process. I give steps to perform, you do each one and then report back results until something works, so I know what to suggest next. If you need help performing any step, just ask back. But please do not skip any steps. We often find out the skipped step is the fix.

Screensaver is so dated I had to really dig to find those fixes, so to have them completely ignored is very discouraging. Can you go back to the top of the list and work through them now?
