  2. Great, do you have the other DNS server configured with your router address? Google does not know anything of your local games and ports. *Smile

i am not very sure to what you are referring to now , router settings ? is there a guide i can follow ? i followed a small blizzard article stating these 2 ports are required for diablo 2. i thought that the thing you stated if i remember correctly is that my ipv4 needs to be outside of the dhcp server , but i could be wrong ...what exactly are you refering to
oh yeah and if youre up to that , we could teamviewer or windows remote desktop...anything like that so you can examine my pc quickly and router settings..

Go here and check for your appropriate Network adapter:

Let's try these first before TeamViewing.

If all is in check, then restart both computer and router and try the connection with your port checking tools again. I guess you need to have the D2 server online before the tool get any response from the outside world.

All support on the forum should be provided only Via the forum, not in Personal Messages or Live control sessions.

i understand where you're getting but its just that through a session the problem would be solved in 10 minutes...hopefully that is

All your settings are in check so now we need to kill any traces of Kaspersky.

Go here and follow the instructions:
Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab products (kavremover)

If that does not help, then remove IPV6 support for the network adapter that is connected to internet. Sometimes IPV6 can confuse IPV4 traffic.

i downloaded a product remover from kaspersky and all it detected was the password manager , which is removed but i dont think it affects firewall

  11. Did you use the tool from the link? First uninstall Kaspersky, then reboot and finally use the tool and reboot again.

And yes, disabling IPV6 you just untick the protocol in your network card properties.

  12. Another thing to check is that your router actually forwards anything to your computer.

Fire up your Diablo2 server session and let it run in the background. Then go here using your browser:

    Portchecktool

Finally enter ports 4000 and 6112 one at a time and run the check to see if the site gets any response.

i dont understand how the tool you sent me works ? i search the port and it states an other game terabase

  15. One thing I noticed in your port forwarding settings is that you use the full range 4000-6112. Instead enter 4000, 6112, since you only need to open 2 ports not the full range.

While you are at the router, check that you don't have any duplicate entries there. Even if the duplicate is disabled, delete it. And once all is properly configured make sure you sane the settings and reboot your router
