Windows Server 2016 Cluster Services failing to start

After adding the feature to the server, the cluster service will not start.

    Event log says:

The Cluster Service service terminated with the following service-specific error: The system cannot find the file specified.

While nothing is listed, the service uses clussvc.exe

The file is present in the %systemroot%\cluster directory.

When I try and execute this file as administrator in the command prompt, I get:

Got (58)' because of 'SsCoreMarkAsClusterSvc failed' in

I have reinstalled the OS and all updates are current. This works just fine on the other servers. It's making me crazy.

    Hello Everyone,

we have recently deployed 3 different dell nodes for Azure stack HCI and everything was ok so far but now, when we setup a failover cluster for the nodes,

and ran a test which shows us all the configuration in place, here we are getting a error message that the systemonfiguration > active directory connection fails.

any response to it much appreciated.

    error message is-

Connection to a writable domain controller from node "hci1.xyz.com" could not be determined due to the following error: The domain controller name could not be retrieved from computer "hci1abc".
