  1. HDD Disappear after crash

Hello I run into a trouble. I was playing game and it crashed then I reboot my laptop and when it rebooting it starts so slow. I use SSD for booting and it usually takes 10 secs and this time it takes more than 3 minutes. I see in the file explorer that the D drive is missing, I can't click on any of the files like downloads, pictures (it said the specified path does not exist). And I cannot open disk management or computer management (or any control panel features)because it said specified path does not exist. So I re-installed the Windows OS so I can open disk management and device manager. I do not see my drive on device manager, disk management. What should I do?
My windows version is 1903. My disks are all internal. I use 128 gb SSD and 1 TB HDD. SSD is used for the system and booting and the HDD is used for saving files and apps. My laptop is ASUS A407UA.

    :)

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    unlock hdd

    Hi Johan,

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:

    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Update us on how it goes.

    Regards.

    HDD disappear when used

    Hi,

Hardware failure or corruption within your system files are some of the possible reasons why you are experiencing an issue with using your SSD and HDD. For us to provide an accurate solution, we would need you to answer the following questions:

    • Which build and edition of Windows 10?
    • What changes were made to your device before this issue occurred?

In the meantime, we suggest running the automated troubleshooter for hardware. Follow these steps to do so:

    • Open the Control Panel.
    • Using the search box at the upper right corner of the window, type troubleshooting.
    • From the search results, click on Troubleshooting.
    • Click on Hardware and Sound and then choose Hardware and Devices.
    • Once done, restart your computer and then check if the same issue persists.

We are looking forward to your response.
