Windows 10: HDD has +300GB large unallocated partition which cannot be used.

Hello dear community,I have a problem with my HDD on my Windows 11 computer. According to disk management, I have a maximum available space of 931.39GB on my HDD, but in this HDD I have an unallocated partition with a size of 354.48GB. I've done many things on this computer gaming, VM, dual booting, etc.. So I wanted to use the 354.48GB and extend my base partition on the drive. However, it spits out an error message "One or more disks does not have enough space to complete the operation." Can anyone of you tell me if I should pay more attention to something or if I can find information abou

To use the unallocated partition as a separte partition, all you need to do is to assign a drive letter in disk management (check this step:

If you want to merge it to the existing partition to have just a single Drive letter, here is a step by step procedure with screenshot on how to do it:

There is a down side of merging the two hard drive into one dynamic volume because we all know SSD last longer than HDD, if you only have 1 dynamic volume and in the event that the HDD failed, you won't be able to boot even if the SSD has no problem. Why not
keep two separtate drive volume, keep the OS in the SSD (for fault tolerance) and just use the regular Hard Drive as a separtate drive volume?

deleted unallocated partition

I have deleted unallocated partition of my external disk and i lost 300Gb space . I was trying to compine two partitions to one . I had 500 Gb and now i have only 144Gb . What can i do ???

Before assisting further on the query, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Are you able to view the hard disk in File explorer option on the PC?
• With the hard disk connected to the PC, are you able to recognize the device under Disk management?

You might be facing the above issue due to the unallocated letter for the drive. Unallocated drives are those whose drive letters are not allocated when initially partitioned or after formatting. You will be able to view the drive on your PC if you have
allocated a drive name for the partition created. The drive will not be visible on the PC if you do not allocate a drive letter or a drive name.

Method 1: Check if the drive is shown in File Explorer. If the drive is not shown in the
File Explorer, allocate a drive letter to the HDD by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Disk management option from the context menu. Check if the drive is visible in the window.
  
• If visible, right click on the Unallocated disk drive and select
  New Simple Volume option. Follow the onscreen instructions where in the process you will get to a window where you can allocate a drive name for the HDD.
  
• After allocating a drive letter, right click on the drive and select
  Open. Check if you are able to open the drive in File Explorer.
• Close the window and check if you are able to install Windows 10.

Method 2: As easeus partition wizard is not a Microsoft product, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer support for further assistance on the query if the issue persists.
