Windows 10: HDD light always on and some drives are not showing

Hello.I have recently update to Windows 10 from Windows 7. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-hard-drive-light-permanently-on-no-hard/19ded7e8-5ef5-418b-b468-e918341999d4 My problem is quite similar to the linked post above. Pretty much all the symptoms are the same. Only I'd like to add that some of my drives aren't showing. I've checked if all of the wires are properly connected or not. And, they are. This is how it looks now. But there used to be 6 more drives on display.I have this ATA/ATAPI controller. I tried updating and this was shown. I'd like t

HDD in a HDD caddy is not showing up in the disk management

• How are you connecting the HDD Caddy?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

If you are connecting the device using USB, I suggest you to check if other USB devices are recognized as USB devices or Other device. If it is displaying as other device, then the issue might be with the USB port. So, I suggest you to update the USB drivers
by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller.
• Right click on the drive, select Update Driver Software and follow the on-screen prompts.
