Windows 10: HDD not showing up after various other problems

About a week ago, I restarted my computer to perform a Windows 10 Update for version 21H2 but I believe the files got corrupted because I was getting stuck in the boot process for hours. I couldn't access automatic repair so I had to create an installation device to troubleshoot. I ran multiple chkdsk commands on my C: drive and other partitions on my boot SSD. I was then able to log in and access my Windows. However, The slow boot and other issues were still there. I hotplugged my storage HDD in and I got a BSOD. After this point, I unplugged the device upon shutting down and restarted. I res

HDD in a HDD caddy is not showing up in the disk management

• How are you connecting the HDD Caddy?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

If you are connecting the device using USB, I suggest you to check if other USB devices are recognized as USB devices or Other device. If it is displaying as other device, then the issue might be with the USB port. So, I suggest you to update the USB drivers
by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller.
• Right click on the drive, select Update Driver Software and follow the on-screen prompts.
