Time ago, updating windows 10 with a clean installation, a HDMI audio problem started, sometimes present, documented over internet without reliable solution for Windows 10: audio device for HDMI go to suspended state recurrently a few seconds after each audio signal terminated. So I installed another O.S., CentOS 7 but I found this same problem and solved it by finding verifying that is surely related to Intel High Definition Audio power settings, "Keep alive enable" bit setup with power saving active by default. It seems that the issue is due to incorrect audio settings. For help fixing audio or sound problems, try the audio troubleshooter.
It might be able to fix audio problems automatically.

Additionally, we suggest that check your audio settings. Make sure that your HDMI TV is set as your default sound device. Here are the steps:

• Click Start and in the Search box, type
  Sound.
• From the search results, click the Sound option.
• Under the Playback tab, click Speakers
• Click Set Default at the bottom.
• Click Apply and OK to save the settings.

HDMI audio output to Sony TV

Major defect with WM6 - Cut & Paste, then Cancel resulting in lost files!!

Reproduction steps

IPAQ 214, with WM6 classic, CE OS 5.2.1711 (build 18165.0.5.0)

PC - WinXP Pro, SP2

• Connect ipaq to PC via USB cable.
• Select mulitiple files from ipaq via Win Explorer on PC
• Cut and paste files to a folder on PC (by drag & drop whilst holding Shift key)
  
• Whilst files are copying, click cancel (on PC dialogue box)

Expected results

Cut and paste operation ceases, leaving any uncopied files from source (i.e. files should remain on ipaq)

Actual results

Cut and paste operation ceases, and all files are MISSING from source.

Result/impact

I have lost all my data.

Any advice on data recovery?

If anyone has any advice for me regarding how to recover the data I would be very much obliged.
