Windows 10: HDMI Audio Not Working After Any Restart or Shut Down

This happened on the previous build as well but I was hoping it would be fixed with the newer build. I have a AMD R9 280X GPU which I connect with an HDMI cable to my one monitor with built in speakers (ASUS). Any time I restart or shut down my computer, the next time I boot up the audio device (monitor) is no longer being recognized.

I have to completed uninstall and remove the device software from the device manager and re-install Catalyst Omega. I'm not sure if this is on the Windows side or the AMD side but it is a huge pain in the ass. I just hibernate the PC now for the most part.

Any idea on how to fix this permanently is greatly appreciated.

Restoring Windows 10 on a Crashed PC

I had issues with my Windows 10 with a 3rd party software not working after a recent update. The HDMI sound or audio quick working when I installed the HDMI cord for a karaoke show. I lost the audio on my mini audio jack only while the HDMI was hooked up.
If I removed the HDMI cord, audio returned to my mini jack. The problem is that now I did not have video for everyone to watch for our show.

So I restored it to 16 days prior to update and now I have a blue screen that has four options to restart. None of those will restart. I am down and out without purchasing another windows 10 iso disc or is there another way to restart the window 10. Help-

HDMI output and camera stopped working on a Surface with windows 10

I plugged in the HDMI cable last night (it has worked fine before) and the screen went blank, wild colors displayed on the tv and then my computer shut down. I restarted it and the HDMI port has not worked since and the camera has stopped working too.
I plugged the HDMI cable into another computer and it is fine.

Any ideas?

 

Did you try disabling onboard sound ?

 

No I haven't - I'll give that a shot next time it happens and see if it works as well. I've always just uninstalled//reinstalled.
