Windows 10: HDMI connection

I plugged the ps4 into the HDMI port into the back of my all-in-one HP desktop but there is no "input" button to press, and I can't find a way to switch it to HDMI in settings, or display. Can someone please put a step by step on how to change the display from PC to HDMI and back again? So far nothing I read has been working/ the listed options are not appearing in my settings menu. Also, there is a small oval shaped hole next to the HDMI port on the back of my computer but there is no button there, I wonder if this is a manufacturer's defect and that is where the button should have been? the

Sound works fine only issue with me is underscan when connecting to my tv.

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.
