Windows 10: HDMI does not show video on amazon prime

    HDMI does not show video on amazon prime


    I have a Lenovo Ideapad gaming 3I laptop. I believe all my settings are up to date. When I have my laptop connected to the tv through an hdmi cable everything works normally until I go to prime video, I click full screen on episode that I'm watching and then the screen just goes black, the show is still playing as I can hear the sound, but the video does not come through. How would I go about fixing this?

    HDMI no Amazon Prime Video

    Dell Lap Top G7 7790

    Cannot see video when playing Amazon Prime Video when using HDMI. Can hear the sound. I can see the player, but no video.

    Tried over two days, to include computer reset.

    Two weeks ago did not have any issues.

    Can watch without issue YouTube Video.

    Made sure all drivers have been updated and Microsoft updates are current.

    Can see video on the laptop screen.
