    HDMI not detecting monitor


    Hi,I am WFH at the moment and have been using my laptop and Dell monitor for a dual screen, it was working fine first thing this morning but Windows then did some form of update and now the monitor is not being detected through the HDMI cable, I tried this with another cable and monitor and the same result?I have tried updating drivers etc but this is still not working.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Help! Both external monitors not detecting

    Please follow below steps to resolve the message by switching the input source to HDMI:
    1. Press "Menu" hotkey on the monitor to enter OSD.
    2. Switch the input source to HDMI on OSD in one of the following ways:

    • Go to Display > Input > HDMI.
    • Go to System > HDMI Auto Switch > On.

    Second monitor not working with HDMI

    Hi,

    I have tried the above steps but still the monitor is not detected.

    When I plug it to the tv through hdmi, it is displayed, but not to the monitor.

    Dual monitor Detection Issues

    • Is this the first time you're setting up your Windows 10 device with multiple displays?
    Yes

    • Which port are you using to connect the secondary monitors? Are you using a VGA or an HDMI cable?
    I'm using HDMI cable

    Also, I ran the troubleshooter for hardware and devices still did not detect my second monitor.
