Windows 10: HDR Auto Dimming, how to make it stop?

Auto HDR Auto Dimming, how to make it stop?

Hello, i hope you are all well.

I have a problem and its driving me mad, i'm running Windows Auto HDR and for whatever reason with that Windows has decided that its a good idea to force some sort of adaptive brightness.

On the Desktop just browsing the web is the background of what i'm looking at is dark Windows decides that it should dim the screen and give it a grey washed-out low contrast look.

In games its even worse, any dark scenes and you can see it dim the display until its too dark to see anything and turn everything a muddy grey.

Its horrible, i have googled for many different ways to make it stop, nothing seems to work and it seems that the bigness slide is missing from the display section in the settings so there is no access to the Auto Dimming options, same in the advanced power options, the auto dimming setting has also been removed from that.

This whole thing feels like some energy saving feature that's forced, all it does is dim or brighten the display up and down up and down up and down... depending how bright or dark the content on my screen in from one second to the next.

Its a custom Desktop.

AMD Ryzen R7 5800X

AMD RX 7800 XT, latest driver installed.

Screen is an LG 32GN600-B.

Please i just want to screen to stop switching between an HDR screen from 2022 to an LCD from 2002 depending on how dark the scene is, if the scene is dark i don't then want windows to completely crush the blacks in to a uniform dim grey.

Windows will leave HDR ON / Screen is dim after gaming hardly see anything.

AUTO HRD disabled.
Genuine HDR game.
