Windows 10: HDR causes stuttering?

Hello my specs:GPU: 7800XT, CPU: 7800X3D, RAM: G.Skill trident Z at 6000MT, MOBO: MSI Tomahawk wifi b650As stated my pc stutters using windows hdr, causing my cpu cores to spike during freezing and stuttering.Doesnt happen when recording though AMD software wierdly enough.I do have video of this issue but seems like i cant paste it here, but yeah ive already said what the issue is so it describes it pretty good.Another minor issue is that the nightmode UV filter always resets to on...

Windows 11 HDR

i am using an LG OLED C2 UHD 4K tv as my monitor

RX 6600

Intel i3 12100f

32gb ddr4 ram 2666

My desktop and all video apps (and EDGE browser) freeze and stutter when i have HDR enabled and work perfectly when HDR is turned OFF.

I wanted to know why would HDR cause my apps to stutter (mouse freezes in place and than shoots across the screen, only to freeze again)

Windows 11 HDR + Nvidia GPU Stutter

Windows Version: 21H2 Build: 22000.556

Nvidia Driver Version: 512.15

Windows 11 has a stuttering issue with HDR enabled on Nvidia graphics cards. In some games such as Apex Legends a hitch will occur causing gameplay disruption. The issue typically only pops up shortly every 5-20 minutes, so it’s easy to miss, but I have narrowed it down to HDR after checking every possible windows and BIOS setting.

As for troubleshooting steps I have tried swapping all of my hardware including GPU, CPU, MOBO, & RAM. I have also reinstalled Windows 2x and setting everything back to default. This issue has been present for as long as I have been using Windows 11, and I'm not sure if its an Nvidia Driver issue or windows issue, but I want to make sure it is reported and eventually fixed.

 

Unable to enable HDR

I truly understand you really like enable HDR of your computer. The possible cause why it’s not working maybe your PC and display doesn’t meet certain hardware requirements.

I suggest to update your windows first, please follow the steps below:

• Start > and then go to Setting > Update & Security > Windows Update
