  1. HDR not supported

Hello,I recently changed both my computer and my monitor, both of which are compatible with HDR10 Technology. However, on Windows 11, it says that I can't use HDR because it's not supported. In the settings of the monitor itself, HDR appears as 'auto'. When opening DXDIAG, it shows HDR Not Supported, and the same with Advanced colour. I have updated the Nvidia drivers from their official page. I have also downloaded the driver provided by Lenovo from their official page for this specific monitor in Windows 11. None of this works. The only thing I have not tried yet is to remove the graphic

  2. HDR support for windows 11

Hi Nadeem. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

I would contact LG Support which is included with the monitor purchase for at least the first year, during which they must get it working properly or repair or replace it under warranty.

Try these troubleshooting steps for HDR monitor display in Windows 11:

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

  3. HDR not supported

    Hello William3241,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Let me help you solve the problem of not supporting HDR.

Your two monitors originally supported HDR, but the problem occurred after updating the system, right?

If the problem occurred after the update, it may be caused by the incompatibility of the monitor driver or graphics card driver with the latest system.

You can consult the manufacturer of the device, whether the current monitor and graphics card drivers support HDR function, if not, please replace the supported drivers.

If the driver supports the HDR function, the system still prompts unsupported, then I recommend that you uninstall the latest update to see if it can be resolved.

Open Settings > click Windows Update > Update history> Uninstall Updates > click the update you want to uninstall > click the "Uninstall" button above.

In addition, the following link is to a support document I found for HDR setup in Windows that you can learn about.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
