Windows 10: HDR turns on, no matter what game.

Hello!


Is there any way to stop my monitor from automatically turning on HDR mode when in a game?

Whenever I boot up a game the monitor will auto switch to FreeSync2 HDR On, even if that game doesn't support HDR. Most of the menu options on the monitor are greyed out, including screen mode so I can't manually turn it off, from say HDR to Standard.

I have HDR turned off in Windows.

GPU is a Vega 64.

It's getting real annoying playing non HDR games as they look awful.

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the PC?

Hdr turns off

I am on a Gaming Pc to be Exact its my tower hooked to a 4k UHD TV but when I turn HDR on and try to play a game for example, Minecraft it turns itself off

 

Windows 10 HDR keeps turning itself on

Windows 10 HDR settings are horrible, as most of you probably have figured out. I have to turn it off in Windows 10 for HDR to work correctly on my TV and in games. I noticed while/after playing some games it turns itself on and ruins HDR settings, then
I have to go and turn it off in Windows 10 again. Is there a way to permanently keep HDR off in Windows 10, since it has been horribly implemented?
