    HD's will not power down

HD's will no longer power down, likely following a win update, system drivers/Bios updated from mobo support

    Windows 10 Professional x64 Version 2009 build 19042.867

    Motherboard Gigabyte Z37 Aorus K3-CF

    Bios F14

    Nvidia GeForce GTX1650

5x sata HD's. Only business software, system runs 24x7 as it runs processes overnight

Trouble shooters find no issues, I disabled Intel Rapid Storage link Power management, and initially seemed to have cured the problem, but came back almost immediately

    I'm stumped, any thoughts?

    T/Y

    :)

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

    HD's will not power down

    Cannot Format HD

Need to initialize it as GPT disk type with HD > 2TB:
    From Admin command prompt:
    1. diskpart
    2. list disk =====> Take a note of disk # for the 4TB HD
    3. select disk # ====> From step 2
    4. clean
    5. exit
Open Disk Management and initialize the disk as GPT, create simple then format.
