Windows 10: Headphone jack and speakers aren't working

My earbuds plugged into my headphone jack along with my speakers for my laptop aren't making any sound. I've tried troubleshooting the audio, but it said it ran into an error and couldn't troubleshoot error code 0x8000FFFF. I've followed guides online like updating/restarting the audio driver and restarting my computer multiple times, to no avail. I last used them the other day and there was no problem with it. I've attached my system information along with the error message

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

Let us isolate your concern by answering these few questions.

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.

No sound from speakers/headphones

Disconnect the front panel headphone/mic jacks from the motherboard and then see if the rear panel GREEN speaker jack works (either with speakers or headset). This is in case the front panel jack is causing no audio out. Power off the PC before opening and disconnecting the front panel audio.

The connector for the front panel audio is listed as #21 on the motherboard drawing (below).

 

Laptop speaker/headphone jack not working.

I have a Logitech speaker system attached to my Sony V10 laptop. Since down loading windows 10 my headphones/speaker jack has stopped working. It worked fine with windows 8.1 I have tried other speakers and headphones without success. Is their anyway to
rectify

this situation.
