Windows 10: Headphones mute button not wotking after windows 11 reset

I have recently reset my PC to clean it up, by reinstalling windows 11 trough a usb support I used all the official microsoft tools. After having reinstalled windows I discovered that the mute button of my heaphones stopped working. The headphones do not have a specific software, so I know that isn't the problem. I tried to reinstall windows another time and also to update all the drivers several times, but nothing works. I know is not a headpthones problem, because i tried them on my mobile phone and there the mute button works. I can't find a solution online, it seem nobody had this proble

Sound won't come back after muting


Problem:

Plugging headphones (Sound plays) -> Muting -> Unmuting -> Sound doesn't play anymore

Fix (No restart required)

Sound doesn't play -> Mute (with headphones in) -> Unplug headphones ->Unmute (with headphones out) -> Mute (with headphones out) -> Plug headphones -> Unmute (with headphones in).

This is the shortest pattern I could find. Important to follow step by step. It might not work because I have no idea why it works on my end (without starting conspiracy theories about boolean variables being out of sync on the audio driver, which would be the most embarassing thing ever for whoever wrote these drivers).

 

Lumia 920 - Headphone In-line Mic - Mute Button = Hangs up

I have just bought a Lumia 920 (comming out of a BlackBerry) and as I ussually am on the phone... I noticed that if I press the mute/unmute from my headphones in-line mic it hangs up the call... I was expecting the call to be on mute as I try to multitaks
and like to have my hands free.... right now, I need to have the phone ready on my hand to press and unpress the mute button.



Can I change the setting to allow the mute button from my headphone (Skullcandy) work as it should be?
